Cap Threshold Processing in AM

Is the Cap Threshold Validation process required? When I interface assets from AP and add manually, the system detemines if non cap or capitalized. I should not have to run the process. Has any had issues with assets interfacing from AP, and the cap threshold limits are not working correctly. I have sent over assets from AP and sometimes the asset is capitalized when it should be non capital. Other times it works correctly. I have had this happen on asset with just one voucher line and distrbi line. I have had it happen with 1 voucher line and multiple
