Dear Support,

Greetings…

I’ve used the Export/Import utility to migrate old Oracle database10g EE R2 (10.2.0.3) running on Win2003R2-EE OS 32bit to new Oracle database10g EE R2 (10.2.0.5) running on Win2008R2-EE OS 64bit successfully.

My question is as follows:

Is there saver and most efficient method without any headache to repeat similar exercise above; I meant using Oracle Export/Import utility for switching-over to new Production Server i.e. (Win2008R2-EE OS 64bit)?

The proposed solutions are as follows:

1-      Recreating a new Oracle database10g EE R2 (10.2.0.5), then use Oracle Export/Import utility to migrate objects owner schema

Howdy, Stranger!
