BRM v7.3.1 (HP-UX) migration from single-schema to multi-schema

  Hi Guru/Master/Expert,

A few questions to clarify on BRM v7.3.1 (HP-UX) migration from single-schema (production) to multi-schema:- 

1) Could an existing single-schema BRM system be upgraded to multi-schema (assuming to perform upgrades on the same server/node/env itself)?
            i.e. just follow the BRM doc (Installing a multidatabase system on UNIX) on the existing single-schema?  What happen to the existing data in the single-schema?
2) Can AAM (Account Migration Manager) be used to migrate existing accounts in the single-schema to the multi-schema?  If not, what is the ootb utils/tools for this upgrade of migration?
3) Any specific patch level for the AAM to work in this single-schema to multi-schema?
