Datafile Size

 Dear Sir,

      I would like to know what should the max size of a datafile should be there for properly managing it and proper i/o

      Before creating new datafile for the same tablespace.

      We have Oracle EBS 11i environment on sun solaris and datafile a_media0x.dbf  reaches around 4gb every 2 months and i create a new

     datafile, so would like to know to what size it is safe to let it grow before creating a new datafile.
