ORA-00132

Dear All,

Thank you for your help.

I have 3 databases, 3 different home,  on one server....

The listener.ora files are very similar....

Two of them startup fine, and their associated databases startup fine as well...

The third one starts up, but supports no services:

'The listener supports no services'
'The command completed successfully'

When I try and startup the third database I get the following error:

SQL> startup
ORA-00119: invalid specification for system parameter LOCAL_LISTENER
ORA-00132: syntax error or unresolved network name 'LISTENER_********''
SQL> exit

I copied a listener file from one of the other database, changed it but still get the message,,,,
