11gR2 Duplicate/from Active database fails with RMAN-04014: startup failed: ORA-48141: error creatin

 Hello there,

Im hitting some weird behavior when I try to create a physical standby from active primary database :(procedure 1075908.1 )

RMAN-04014: startup failed: ORA-48141: error creating directory during ADR initialization [/primary/$ADR path]

somehow the error message shows the $ADR_HOME for primary database, but my intention is to create the standby on a remote machine (tns connectivity proved). I've searched for similar errors under similar circunstamces without any luck beyond note id [ID 1366290.1} but noone of these errors matches this one.

Oracle 11.2.0.2 EE
Aix 6

Can someone gives some clues about this?
