11gR2 GI installation on Win2003-64

Hi All,

We have existing set up of 10gR2 RAC on two nodes. Wants to Install 11gR2 RAC on same nodes, without disturbing existing 10gR2 RAC, both can work simultaneously.

OR

1)      It is possible to stop existing 10gR2 RAC and install fresh 11gR2 GI on same nodes, without disturbing existing one. After test with application I will stop 11gR2 GI services and start 10gR2 RAC.

2)      For performing above set up I will do below steps, if any issue occurs then I will restore accordingly.

a) Backup database

b) Backup ORACLE_HOME, CRS_HOME

c) Backup of all Installed file structure
