OAM 11g Login Page customization to include "Remember Me" to remember Username in a persistent cooki

Hi,

I have requirement to customize the OAM 11g login page to include a check box "Remember Me" to remember the user's username whenever a protected resource is accessed using OAM s form based authentication. So that the user on subsequent access to the same resource need not enter his\her username again, instead it should be autofilled in he username field of the login.jsp page.

Anybody have done this before? if so, can you please provide me an insight to achieve this?
