I deleted a database using DBCA which was using the old domain name in the listeners/tnsnames.

Thank you for your help...

The name of the server was changed, and hence the domain name...

I was creating a database using DBCA and came across the following problem:

ORA-00119 invalid specification for system parameter LOCAL_LISTENER ORA-00130 invalid listnener address ('ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP(HOST=dev-teamst-db1.int.adl)

(PORT=1522)

There are 3 databases on the system, 2 are shut down...

I changes the lsitener.ora to reflect the new name.

The above host name is the old name)

I ignored this error and got another one;

Howdy, Stranger!
