EAM PM Schedule has an option 'Repeat in Cycle'

Hi, I am yet to find a practical requirement or scenario from EAM businesses, pertaining to 'Repeat in Cycle' option available within the PM Schedule definition. Just curios to know if someone got to use it with 'No' value for any business need? If so, please help me know more on this.
