Lock/Send issues with Excel addin 11.1.2.1

We just recently upgraded from 11.1.1.2 to 11.1.2.1.  One of our users has run into a problem with the excel addin.  If she does a lock/send from an excel sheet that contains blank columns inbetween the data, and then runs a retrieve, it moves everything over one column to the right.  The spreadsheet worked fine in the 11.1.1.2 environment.  Nothing has changed other then the version of the addin and the essbase server software.  Is there a setting that needs to be set in this version for this to work properly?  Is it a known bug?  I'm sure others would
