Oracle RAC, 2 instances on differ on "archive log list" !

Hi All,
We just started with 11g RAC installation for our development server.

Create db with 2 instances in no archive log mode and decided to switch to archive log. 

I did following, mostly using srvctl :

0> connect to RAC1 instance.
1> create init file from spfile.
2> Edited init file to add log_archive_dest_1 to go on the shared directory.
3> Put the server in cluster_database FALSE mode.
4> shutdown db.
5> mount the instance and put the db in archive log mode.
6> turn on cluster_database TRUE mode.
7> start the db.

When I did  "archive log list" on both instances, I see following:
