Hyper-threading

in Linux Operating System (MOSC) Question
Benchmarking Oracle EE 11gR2 RDBMS (11.2.0.1.0) on HP Blade (96G RAM; 2 sockets/8 core) running SLES10 and would like to know of any memory implications when utilizing hyper-threading?  Using Hammerora to bang on the box and noticed a slight performance improvement (via OS commands and awrddrpt) with HT on, however, memory consumption seems abnormally high.  Curious if anyone could shed some light?  Any direction appreciated.  Thanks.
