Query Builder Search facility

Morning Folks,

When editing a data set (this affects all datasets), specifically within Query Builder when typing in search criteria...there appears to be latency in each keystroke taken.  I'm wondering whether this is a bug with BI Publisher (11.1.1.1.6) or whether I have a more local issue specific to my browser (both IE and Firefox), the version of Java installed locally on my desktop.  has anyone encountered this problem?  If so, how did you resolve the issue or what workaround did  you deploy?
