Oracle 11.2.0.3 - Installation Requirements

Running the Pre-Upgrade checks and Installation of Oracle there are new minimum requirements for AIX 64 Bit environments - (at least for us required SGA sizes, User Processes, etc.).
I guess the question is are these the new requirements moving forward - in other once changed, we have to leave them, or

Can we revert back to Pre-install levels once installation is complete?

Also, same with upgrade DB steps?

~750 MB for SGA for a small DEV DB?

What will this do to our production DB's that are ~780 GB in size?

This is specifically 16,484 User Processes, TCP/UDP ephemural low/high, etc.
