RMA and inventory tracking

Please help me configuring the system to the following requirement:1) Ship serialized items (SN generation at sales order issue can be used for this)
2) Do NOT want to track on hand inventory
3) Track standard costing for the items (how do I setup costing if I dont receive inventory thru a purchase order)
4) Configure RMA with the above item setup - is this possible without maintaining on hand inventory? (RMA process be configured for a non reservable item?)
5) Advance replacement shipment functionality with the ability to transfer entitlement in Service Contracts to the advanced replacement product. The advance replacement order should tie to the original shipment for this reason.
