R12 Problem with SLA Assets - Create Accounting not picking up Assets

Hi

We are experiencing some problems with SLA Fixed Assets.  In 11i Asset transactions from previous period will automatically transferred to the current/open period.  In R12 this is not happening, we have applied a patch 11853930 Create Accounting Errors With Error 95325 For Back Dated Events [ID 1329560.1] hoping this will fix the problem but to no avail.

Still getting this message when I run Create Accounting 'The GL date 01-MAR-2012 is not in an open or a future enterable period.  Please select a valid GL date or open the period.'

Your advise would be much appreciated.
