Process stuck/hung at FUTEX_WAIT indefinitely

 

Hi All,

Issue is that when we try to install weblogic (java -Xmx1024m -jar wls1035_generic.jar) using the java home on  Linux x86-64, it just hangs and never brings up the GUI. we can bring up other xwindows based installers on this machine so x and DISPLAY are not the issue.

Upon troubleshooting the issue,

1.We took a thread dump for the above process that was launched to see what was going on and it shows that its loading native libraries ( java/lang/ClassLoader$NativeLibrary.load(Ljava/lang/String;)V(Native Method))
