P2V: Solaris 9 on blade to zone incl. update to Solaris 10

Hello,
i know that it is possible to take a flar image and install a zone.

Is it possible and supported to take a flare image from a solaris 9 installation, install the zone and update on attach?

A hint / link to a document would be great.
