One user exist in both hierarchy po and ap

Hi,
What will be the behavior if one user exist in PO and AP invoice hierarchy and he apply vacation rule?If both Po and AP notification transferred to another person automatically?Can we apply vacation rule on separate hierarchy wise i mean PO is forward to another person "B" and AP invoice is forward to user "C"
