OBIEE 10g BI Publisher - Date picker & free form entry field.

For a date prompt Parameter, BI Publisher has an entry field and also a Calendar Icon from which a user can select a date.  The problem arises when the user manually types a date into the text entry field in an incorrect format.  Then, the report query will not read the text.

 

We would like to disable the text entry field so that the user must always choose the date from the “date picker” for the date Parameter in the Report heading.  Can you please tell us how to do this?
