Cluster Verification Utility

All,

I have a 2 node cluster using ASM for storage and running on a Linux 4x OS, which behaves suspiciously, dropping node 2 for no apparent reason, node 2 will simple freeze from time to time.  In the past after a reboot it seems that the nodes were locking each other out of the ASM disks.  At the time a work around solution was to set the asm_diskgroup variable to different paths on each server and that appears to have solved that problem.

At any rate it has been suggested that we run the Oracle Cluster Verification Utility to ensure the health of the cluster prior to a reboot and ultimately an upgrade to the disk drivers to multipath from sdd.

Howdy, Stranger!
