Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. <username> is the software installer/owner for the CRS Home.?

When run # custom/scripts/prerootpatch.sh -crshome <CRS_HOME> -crsuser <username> for patching crs.

What is username ?

I have

drwxr-xr-x 76 oracle asm 4096 Apr 26 14:46 asm
drwxr-xr-x 43 root oinstall 4096 Mar 8 2011 crs
drwxr-xr-x 83 oracle oinstall 4096 Apr 26 15:16 db

So, is <username> = root?
