no event for removing link to account on CO8?

Hi,

on CO8 we show the associated account on the detail view. When I remove the account from the record (clearing the field) no workflow is triggered. My test workflow does not have a workflow condition and triggers for adding and changing account, but not for removing. Is this expected behaviour?
