Gather Statistics Autotask - Distribute

Hello!
We have about  300 databases in versions 10g and 11g running on our IBM P795.
Most of them have the default schedules activated.
So every day at about 22:00, the automated gather-statistics job startson all of the instances resulting in a considerable high system load.

So my question is, what is the easiest way to distribute those start times over 2 hours for example.

I know how we could do it for one database (change the maintainance window, ...), but maybe one of you has some hint for performing this redistribution on all Databases at once.
An additional task would be to change the default start time for newly created databases at creation time.
