VAT - reading materials

Hi,

Can anyone pls recommend some reading materials on how to understand / setup ebTax?

I am looking mostly for VAT setups (for Europe), but would also need something about (automated) VAT returns.

Please bear in mind that I'm a novice at tax, and struggle to understand how everything flows in ebTax and I am more looking for a step-by-step book with explinations.
I've gone through the ebTax User's Guide & ebTax Reporting Issues - but I find the information to be quite high-level.

I need something in more details, as I feel that ebTax has so many layers that I get lost in the setup part. I would need something that states at each step what would be the implications:
