GL Accounting Period From Date range entered incorrectly and didn't notice until after opening the p

Today, after the May GL period was opened, it was discovered the From Date was entered as 02-MAY-12 which is preventing folks from entering journals for today 5/1.  Is it possible to change this date to 01-MAY-12??
