Inbound email component causing multiple blank email

 Hi,
I need help for the below scnario:

I my Siebel call center application when the Inbound email component is pulling the emails from MS-Outlook that time in case any .error file got generated, its causing a problem like creating multiple blank email and which is causing a huge volume of emails to the application. Once I delete the .error file from the location, generation of blank email will stop.

Does any one has any idea why it is happening? 

I'm planing to move the .error files location to some other location when the .error file will be generated from the predefined location to avoid this scnario, any idea which workflow I have to change?
