Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Cannot boot paravirtualized VM from cd(ISO)

Running Oracle OVM 2.2

Trying to create a recovery disk to boot a VM.

VM is running OEL5 configured paravirtualised.

OVM console does not provide from from ISO/CD option.

Documentation says that this can only be done with HVM.

Is there a workaround for this.

Need to create a boot disk in case VM crashes and system image if "broken".
