Mouse not working on OVM guest os OEL 5.7

in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question
I have a vm that when I launch a vnc session from OVM the mouse doesn't work I can right click and get a menu but the mouse never shows up and the menu is always in the same spot.  I have gotten it to work by rebooting the vm but thought there might be another solution.
I have already tried:
