Accounting Rules

Hi Folks,
Please confirm my following doubts about accounting rules.

1. When I choose a deferred accounting rules with 'In Advance' Invoicing rule, that particular invoice shows up in the Revenue Accounting form(RAM), but when I pick 'In Arrears' as the invoicing rule, that invoice does not show up in the RAM. Why is that?

2. Also, if the accounting rule that I am using is not a deferred one, should the invoice using that rule (assuming the invoicing rule was 'In Advance') show up in Revenue Accounting form?

Please help me out.
