[Alert]:Issues with FSCM 9.1 MP9 Cumulative

in Asset Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC)

Support and Packaging team have identified an issue while applying the project for FSCM 9.1 MP9 Cumulative ( 878541). This issue occurs only for customers on Non Unicode databases with tools version less than 8.50.21.

Symptoms :

While importing the project for FSCM 9.1 MP9 Cumulative on a Non Unicode MS SQL Server database , Application Designer shows the message ‘Transforming XML be patient’ for a long time and then crashes. This happens in environments which are below PeopleTools 8.50.21

Cause:

This is due to a special character reference in one of the application designer objects which causes the import process to fail in Non Unicode Environments on MS SQL Server DB with Tools versions less than PT 8.50.21
