Replacement for Esar for Performance Data Collection?

Bigadmin used to have a link to Esar as a performance data collection "package" to use in place of sar.

I installed Esar at a previous site that I worked, and was happy with it, but now I can't find it.

2 questions:

1) Does anyone know where I can get Esar, if it's still available?

2) Is there any other shareware package people are happy with?

I like "sar", but if I implement sar then ( it used to be that ) I have to write my own collection of network usage and other things.....
