Automate generation and storage of BI Publisher reports on BI server

Hi,

1) When a user is trying to generate a BI Publisher report in for eg. excel format via BI Publisher Enterprise screen, by clicking on View and a pop-up comes asking the user to Open, Save or Cancel - by which the user can store this on his/her machine. I would like to know, does a copy of this report gets stored on the BI Server? If yes, where does it get stored and is it possible for me to write a custom java code to link to this report in my application.

The link so provided when clicked by the user within the application, should be able to open up the report stored in the server path?
