How to depreciate different categories of assets on monthly and yearly basis within one Book?

 I tried to play with calendars and prorate conventions to depreciate different categories of assets on monthly and yearly basis within one Book. But all was unsuccessful. Does someone have an idea how to achieve that. (We can not have two different TAX books for that. It should be within one book). Thank you.
