Pick Releasing an order against one w/h, but at Ship Confirming against another - advice required pl

Hi,

I have a request from my business to create a regular sales orders against one warehouse, but at ship confirm, update the original warhouse value to another. This would not only update the sales order line but also the delivery.

All MTL_TRANSACTIONS would be recorded (i.e. the issue out of the original warehouse into the second and then the issue out of the second at ship confirm).

Has anyone attempted this before? I am concerned that forcibly updating the warehouse detail on a picked sales order line and delivery, will cause some sort of data corruption?
