promised date tolerances

  Hi,

I have a requirement in a purchase order i have entered promised date and that PO got approved, after some times i change the promised date but it is going for reapproval and a revision is getting created. As per my requirement i dont want the PO to go for approval.
Please suggest...

In Maximum increment screen promised date i have given 30 days please refer screen shot below.
