 Why are the levels of detail 8 and 9 are reserved for Job Cost?

By setting up levels of detail 8 & 9 for Job Cost only it will establish a hierarchy of accounts related to the cost code structure that is set up for the jobs.  Jobs and business units both use level of detail 8 and 9.  JD Edwards advises levels 8 and 9  are reserved for cost codes and cost types in the Job Cost system.  These levels should be used only for job cost detail. If level of detail 8 and 9 are used in the General Accounting system, then to report only on job accounts, the data selection will need
