One OD architecture question wrt vertical objects

in CRM On Demand - Administration (MOSC) Question
Hi Gurus,

I am looking for a vertical object which have 1:M relatiionship to Account:  1 Program can include many accounts.

I have already used Oppty etc standard objects. And also I intend to use Books so I'd like to avoid using COs. Because COs can only be reported in real time and Books are not suppoted well in real time reporting.

1. Is there any vertcial object you can recommmend? Intially I was thinking of Business Plan, but plan account is another layer in the middle which is not required in my case.

2. Also can rename and do more customization with MedEd in R19 now?
