ONS down on one node - 10.2.0.4. RAC

Hi,

we have a 2 node 10.2.0.4 RAC database
Over this weekend, we noticed that the ONS nodeapps on one of the node has gone down

srvctl status nodeapps -n node1
VIP is running on node: node1
GSD is running on node: node1
Listener is running on node: node1
ONS daemon is not running on node: node1


It is fine on another node. We tried to start it using onsctl start command on that node but no success

Can you please guide us as to how to go about troublesooting this and bring back the ONS on node1?
Also, since the other components are up and running, could this impact the availablity of the database on node1?
