Import taking 12 hours when i am migrating Oracle10gR2(32bit) dump file of 17GB into Oracle11gR2(64b

Hi,
Import taking 12 hours when i am migrating Oracle10gR2(32bit) dump file of 17GB into Oracle11gR2(64bit) in Hp DL380 G7. How can i reduce the time of import time?.
SGA = 9G
SP=2
DBcache size=2G
large_pool_size= 160m
java_pool_size=160m

import command :   imp username/password file=xxx.dmp log=xxximp.log fromuser=a touser=a
