SL8500 not processing new MVC tapes.

We received a message that the MVC tapes were low. I added 10 new MVC tapesto the SL8500 and updated the PARM member with the 10 new volsers.  The 10 new tapes have a satus of "A" in the U column which says that the tapes are being audited.  But no action appears to be occurring against the new MVC tapes.

Please provide steps for debugging this problem.
