Package body invalidation issue

Hi,

We are facing the issue of package body invalidation after some patch activity(s). Please guide is there any form in R12 to handle the said issue from functional end (e.g. to know the invalidation after patching or to validate the inavalidated one). Or we have to do the rectification of the same from database related acticity(s) e.g. rec-compilation & application of another patch for the rectification of the issue.

Also guide that is there any more reason(s) of said issue or only patching activity is the root cause of the same?
