Significance of Stock Count Default Time frame option in SIM

 Hi
We have Stock Count Default Time frame parameter set at "Before Store Open" and Stock count sale processing as "TIMESTAMP Processing".

Business is going for Stock Count and wants to know about what are the different parameters we can set other than mentioned above. And how it impact Stock Counts.

Please let me know also that what is the use and benefit of the current settings we have and what is the benefit if we change the above mentioned settings.
