Create document is giving the message connection to the server is unavailable

Hi All,
I have created a Excel using desktop integrator responsibility
When I opened the excel, it is giving the message that 'connection to the server is unavailable, contact your support representative'
I am working oracle R12 version 12.1.3

Please let me know what i have to do for this..
