Exporting Grid Data and only Headings Appear in Excel

Has anyone come across the situation where, when exporting grid data from a menu into excel only the headings come over? It happens intermittently. For example, a user clicks the export grid data from Account Ledger Inquiry and the first time it works, the user pulls up data from another object account and hits export grid data and only the headings come across. Then when you click export again the data exports fine. I tested on her machine and I had the same issue although it has never happened to me.

We are on Version 9.0. The issue happens whether she was on IE8 or IE9.
