Can a Process Manufacturing warehouse sell to a discrete inventory organization in a different Legal

Hi,

I have a big doubt as to how is the selling of a product is carried out when produced in a process manufacturing environment. Is the selling carried out directly from the process inventory or must the product be moved to a discrete inventory before selling? How does this work? What is the flow of data?
