How to test ASN's thru receiving open interface?

Hi,My understanding is the ASN's come thru the receiving open interface(electronically) and get processed and get created as transaction in rcv_transactions.
However if i need to test by manually entering one in open interface ,is there a form or other way to do this so i can test the complete flow.
please throw some pointers on this,
