upgrade all tbs with transportable tablespaces

Hi,

We are going to migrate an environment as follows:

Source:

RDBMS version: 11.2.0.1

OS: Solaris Sparc

Target

RDBMS version: 11.2.0.3

OS: Solaris x86

The most of the tablespaces are not self contain.

1. If we transport all the tablespaces at once still do we need to do self containing process?

2. Can we port 11.2.0.1 tablespaces directly to 11.2.0.3 so that we dont need to do version upgrade?
