If you receive error 011E after pressing F15 (Retrieve Vertex GeoCode) in the customer master program (P01053), or supplier master program, which states, "Function Key Invalid, Vertex Not Enabled," check the following. Vertex must be enabled to perform this function. If Vertex is enabled, make sure that the data you are currently processing has a country code that is supported by Vertex.

    Check the Vertex tax system constants to ensure that the Vertex interface is activated.
    Check address book revisions (P01051) country code for the address book entry (CTR). The value in this field must be the same as the value entered for the country code in the Vertex tax system constants file (P7301) for the United States (VVUS) or Canada (VVCN). Example, if the country code for the United States in the address book is blank, then the country code for the United States in the Vertex constants file should also be blank. The country codes for the United States and Canada should not both be blank in the Vertex constants file.
